• Artists will create at least one complete illustration featuring the ship Kirk/Spock in a shore leave setting!
  • All universes and all combinations of Kirk/Spock (e.g. TOS!Kirk/AOS!Spock) are welcome.
  • Other characters are permitted as long as the art is clearly Kirk/Spock at a glance.
• Art should be an original illustration, either traditional media or digital. Please no photo manipulation, collages, mood boards, or edits.
• We have no content restrictions. However, graphic or disturbing art could be difficult to match with a writer. NSFW art is permitted.
• Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of art for claims!
  • If submitting multiple pieces, only one may still be a WIP at claims time. The others must be post-ready (or close to it).
  • You are free to create additional works in collaboration with your paired author(s), at your discretion.
• Art should represent your best effort. If you would like feedback or cheerleading as you work, please join our discord where you can interact with the other artists!
• At claims time, you may provide details about each piece of art you’ll be submitting, such as the AU where it takes place or a brief prompt that explains the artwork. Keep in mind that authors will have artistic license with their half of the collaboration. Artists may not specify choices such as point of view, tense, the narrator, what characters may appear, or submit a detailed outline for the writer to follow. If you have a particular story in mind, we recommend commissioning an author and not participating in a bang.
• Keep what you're working on a secret until we are past claims and teams have been announced! This includes semi-private sites like Patreon and Ko-fi. There will be a dedicated channel on the discord where you can chat with the other artists.
• Art may be embedded in the fic, posted to the artist’s website of choice, or both. Where art is hosted is at the artist’s choice. It must be publicly available for at least one year following the end of the challenge.
• You may register as both an author and artist, but you may not claim your own art.
